You don’t have to fight the enemy in your own strength! To escape fear or any other assault by a negative emotion, don’t plunge into rebuking it first thing. That’s like trying to muscle your way through it, hoping to get past the obstacle that is coming between you and your sense of God’s peace and presence. It is true that sin and our agreement with it begins to separate us from God.but the enemy knows this too..
This divine purpose is absolute and unstoppable for it is His desire and purpose. It is yours if you want it. As long as you call on His Name, it will always be given to you. And that my friends is an offer you can’t afford to refuse. Indeed, it is the offer of an eternal lifetime of sharing in His greatness.
If in your heart of hearts (not your intellectual or mental beliefs) you believe that God doesn’t really care about you or doesn’t love you as He does others, or that your life is worthless or meaningless… then your heart will naturally feel depressed and heavy.
