Prayer and ministry are deep wells. There are at least five main ways of praying for healing (or any other concern): petitioning prayer, prevailing prayer, rebuking prayer, commanding prayer and submitting prayer (see our website for a run-down on all five).
Please keep in mind that there is no such thing as a “formula” for prayer, guaranteed to work every time. Prayer is above all else your own faith-based conversation with God. Therefore, what matters most is your honesty and openness to God, as well as your trust in Him–just as it would with any earthly doctor you might visit.
